Sphenarches anisodactylus (Walker)

Indopacific Feathermoth (Sphenarches anisodactylus)

This species is distributed throughout the Indopacific region, from Africa and Asia to Australia and Melanesia, within Polynesia it can be found at least on the Fijian Islands and in Samoa.

The caterpillars feed on a wide range of plants, including species from the families Cucurbitaceae, Fabaceae, Malvaceae, Orchidaceae, Passifloraceae, Pelargoniaceae, and Plantaginaceae.
